Students love this anti-smoking assembly program, and learn from it, too! There are exceptions in every crowd, but the vast majority of students really appreciate the assembly, and even take the time to let me know. The following are some of the e-mail messages received from students after performing at their schools. To protect their privacy, names and return e-mail addresses have been omitted, but each message has been reproduced exactly as received -- misspellings and all.

    I would like to say (for all Oakdale Junior High Students) that your show was both entertaining and full of meaning. I was asked (as Assistant secretary of the student body) to write a letter on behalf of all of us telling you how much fun you were. I am a seventh grader, and know that all of the seventh graders there had a ton of fun listening to you and watching your magic. I'm sure the 8th Graders did as well. Your humor gave us a break from our everyday school day and your slides made us look a little closer at those ads. I'm sure we will remember your words, smile, and humor for a long time...and remember what you have told us about drugs, helping us to make the right choices.

jYou came to my school Bell Intermediate today. It was a great show. I'm kinda interested in becoming a magician. I think its cool that you go around to schools not just putting on magic shows, but telling kids that smoking and drinking will get you no where in life.
